To the members of the Korean Society of Spine Surgery

Greetings.

It is a great honor to greet you as President of the Spinal Deformity Research Society, and I wish abundant health and peace to the families of all our members.

Through in-depth discussion and academic exchange on the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric and adult spinal deformity disorders, the Spinal Deformity Research Society has led the academic growth and clinical advancement of the field of spinal deformity in Korea.

Thanks to the outstanding leadership of successive presidents and officers and the passion of our dedicated members, our Society has established itself as a subspecialty society recognized at home and abroad for its high level of expertise and influence.

Our Society will continue balanced academic activities in both the clinical and research domains so as to contribute to improving the quality of life of patients with spinal deformity. In particular, we seek to further invigorate the Society by encouraging the active participation and communication of young spine surgeons. In addition, by promoting international academic exchange and expanding our global network, we will play a central role in helping our parent society, the Korean Society of Spine Surgery, advance and develop into a society of world-class standing.

I extend my deep gratitude to all members who devote unstinting affection and effort to the development of the Society amid their busy clinical practice and research. As President, I too will fulfill my responsibilities to help build, together with you, a solid foundation for the sustainable and vibrant future of the Society.
