Korean Research Society of Osteoporosis in Spine

I am Young-Hoon Kim, President of the Spine Osteoporosis Research Society of the Korean Society of Spine Surgery.

Our Society is a research group whose purpose is to research and advance the understanding of musculoskeletal disorders that are critical to maintaining quality of life—such as osteoporosis and sarcopenia—in the context of the rise in musculoskeletal disorders driven by an aging society and the treatment of spinal disease among them, and to propose more evidence-based treatment. With the participation of younger and more capable medical scientists than any other research society, it is a society whose continued development is highly anticipated.
